Yasuo Goshima (五島 康夫 Goshima Yasuo) is the husband of Mrs. Goshima and the father of Kirie Goshima and Mitsuo Goshima who is a potter situated next to Dragonfly Pond. He may or may not have some form of immunity to the spiral, shown by the fact that he is one of very few characters to become contaminated by the spiral (multiple times at that!) and recover.
Appearance[]
Yasuo has a narrow face with heavy age lines, short eyebrows and slight stubble. His hair is short and wavy and given how similarly it is drawn to Kirie Goshima, it is reasonable to assume he has ginger hair like her, being her father.
Personality[]
Yasuo is a potter who is very dedicated to his art. By The Firing Effect, he becomes infected with the spiral curse, and refuses to stop dredging up cursed clay from Dragonfly Pond which turns his works of art into twisted spirals. It is implied Mr. Saito was the one to infect him with the spiral obsession by complimenting his work and convincing him of the art present within a spiral.
When not contaminated by the spiral, Yasuo is usually very calm and laid-back, which Kirie Goshima may have inherited.

Etymology[]
- The name Yasuo means "peace" (康) (yasu) and "man, husband" (夫) (o).
- Yasuo's surname Goshima means "five" (五) (go) and "island" (島) (shima).
