Okada (岡田) is a male Kurôzu-Cho High School student, attending Class C, who develops a crush on Azami Kurotani because of her scar in The Scar.
Despite Azami having thoroughly denied his requests of going out with her, Okada has become infatuated with her, to the point where he feels compelled to do so, stating that he simply feels "drawn to [her]" as if he was being "sucked in" by her aura.
Later in the same chapter, Azami tricks Okada into luring Shuichi Saito to the park. In return they would start dating. He does so, calling Shuichi in the middle of the night and coaxing him out of his house for a meeting. Azami joins them shortly, prompting Okada to ask about their date, only to be shot down and ordered to leave by her, as she had no intention of following up on their deal. Enraged, he throws a punch at her, knocking off the sunhat that had been covering most of her face, revealing a large spiral-shaped hole where her face should be. Though petrified by this scene, out of morbid curiosity, he reaches into the cavity and touches it, causing the spiral to wrap around his arms and pull him in whole, much to the horror of Shuichi. The spiral soon tears into Azami herself, tearing her entire body apart before vanishing, leaving no trace of neither the girl nor Okada.
